Peer Mentors are student Veterans specially trained to guide our military-connected community, providing valuable resources and support to ensure a smooth and successful experience at ISU.

The Veteran Peer Mentor Team helps Veteran and military-connected students navigate the unique challenges of university life. Our mentors provide peer support, help students connect with campus resources, and guide them through the military education benefits process.
We also support faculty and staff who want to strengthen their connections with the Veteran community. Through Veteran Support Training, we equip campus community members to become dedicated Veteran Advocates. Look for the Veteran Advocate Placard to identify these allies across campus.
